Redmond Re-Lyte® PRE is a tasty and refreshing pre-workout mix created to deliver a clean boost of energy to power you through any workout! With its balanced blend of electrolytes and minerals, Re-Lyte PRE improves performance, fights muscle fatigue, and aids in recovery, while helping you get the most out of your time in and out of the gym!

No artificial ingredients or unnecessary additives.

Re-Lyte Pre-Workout doesn’t contain any of the junk ingredients or fillers you’ll find in other pre-workout mixes, like sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, and anti-caking agents, and thickening agents.

Clean, balanced electrolytes (including more sodium).

With Redmond's Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix as its base, Pre-Workout contains a dose of electrolytes optimized by health and fitness experts, including more sodium than most mixes to replenish what’s lost through sweat.

A Moderate Dose of Caffeine.

Pre-Workout contains 150 mg of caffeine from green tea extract, which is just enough to give you energy without making you jittery or causing you to crash hard later.

Herbal Energizers.

Pre-Workout contains two herbs that support healthy energy and endurance (ginseng and maca root) that you won’t find in most pre-workout mixes.

Vegan BCAAs.

It contains muscle-supporting branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) made from plant rather than animal sources, so they’re vegan-friendly.

Re-Lyte Base:
Restores the key electrolytes your muscles need to function well and contains enough sodium to replace what you lose in your sweat during workouts.

2:1:1 Vegan BCAAs:
Three essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) that support strength, speed, endurance, and muscle recovery. BCAAs have a slightly bitter flavour that Redmond chose not to mask with artificial sweeteners like other pre-workout brands do. We felt the benefits of BCAAs outweighed the bitterness.

Beta Alanine:
A non-essential amino acid shown to boost exercise performance by increasing exercise capacity and decreasing muscle fatigue. Can cause tingling in the lips, ears, or fingertips when taken in doses over 2 grams. This is harmless and will start to fade within 30 minutes.

Green Tea Extract:
Provides a clean kick through 150 mg of caffeine. Research shows it can improve workout performance and help with post-workout recovery. It’s also high in antioxidants and supports brain health, heart health, liver function, and weight loss.

Contains the amino acid sulfonic acid, which may help improve muscle endurance. It’s also known to promote electrolyte balance.

Ginseng Root:
A popular herb in traditional Chinese medicine, it’s best known for its ability to provide a balanced energy boost and keep inflammation in check.

Maca Root:
Native to Peru, it’s sometimes called Peruvian ginseng because it supports energy just as effectively as ginseng. Maca’s also been shown to improve exercise endurance.

  1. Mix one scoop of Re-Lyte Pre-Workout into 8-12oz of water. (If you're new to pre-workouts start with half a serving)
  2. Mix or shake well. (Avoiding artificial ingredients means a little extra mixing.)
  3. Drink 15-20 minutes before your workout.

Great pre workout, but a little too salty

I tried this pre workout as I wanted to find one that was free of chemicals and fillers but also worked

I can say this one definitely worked, felt a good energy boost and I didn't have any crashes.

I gave it 4 stars mainly due to the salt content. I found the salt helped with muscle recovery but it was hard to drink.

If you aren't too fussed on the salt content, this is one I would recommend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review Matt. We're glad to hear that the Re-Lyte Pre-Workout provided you with a good energy boost and didn't cause any crashes. We appreciate your feedback about the salt content and we'll pass that onto the team at Redmond for future improvements. We're happy to hear that the salt helped with muscle recovery. Have a great day!
