Ingredients. Salt, citric acid, natural flavours, potassium chloride, magnesium malate, stevia leaf extract. No sugar, no artificial colours, no maltodextrin.
Most sports drinks were designed around sugar delivery, then had a little salt added. LMNT was built the other way around: a full gram of sodium per serve, no sugar at all, and a potassium and magnesium ratio aimed at people who lose a lot of sweat — endurance athletes, tradespeople working in heat, and anyone training fasted or eating low carb.
Choose LMNT if you train longer than an hour, work outdoors, follow keto or carnivore, fast regularly, or sweat a lot in hot weather. If you want a somewhat lower sodium dose, Re-Lyte (810 mg per serve) is the closer match. Sodii sits at the same 1000 mg sodium level as LMNT but with a different potassium-to-magnesium ratio — see the comparison below for the numbers side by side.
One stick in 500 ml to 1 L of water. Start with half a stick if you are new to high-sodium mixes or you find the salt level strong, and drink it across a session rather than in one hit. Raw Unflavoured is the pick for adding to bone broth, sparkling water or coffee.

Start with half a stick in 500 ml of water and build up. If a full gram tastes too salty in water, try it in soda water or alongside a meal.
