Shipping policy

We ship Australia-wide using reputable carriers (including Australia Post and partners). This policy sits alongside our Returns & Refunds, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Where we ship

  • Domestic (Australia): All states and territories, including PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers and remote areas where supported by carriers.
  • International: Duties/taxes may apply and are payable by you. Local customs may cause delays.

2. Order processing & dispatch

  • Orders are processed on business days (Mon–Fri, excluding NSW public holidays).
  • Dispatch and delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates. We’ll email tracking once your order ships.
  • Pre-orders/back-orders: we’ll provide an estimated dispatch window and update you if timelines change.

3. Shipping rates & delivery estimates

  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight/volume and service speed.
  • Estimated delivery timeframes are displayed at checkout and in your tracking—these are set by the carrier and may vary during peak periods or due to events outside our control.

4. Tracking & delivery

  • You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link once dispatched.
  • Delivery may require a signature unless you request Authority to Leave (see Section 6).
  • Risk in the goods passes on delivery to the address supplied (or when left under Authority to Leave). Title passes on full payment.

5. Address accuracy (including digital wallets)

  • Please enter your delivery address correctly and completely at checkout and review your order confirmation immediately.
  • Digital wallets (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay): these may override the address you type with the address in your wallet. Confirm the final address shown before paying.
  • If you need a correction before dispatch, contact us promptly at info@lytes.com.au.

6. Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you select Authority to Leave, the parcel may be left unattended at your address and is deemed received when left. LYTES and our delivery partners are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from this delivery method.

7. Return to Sender (RTS)

When a parcel is returned to LYTES

7.1 Causes

Examples include incorrect/incomplete address, unclaimed parcel, refused delivery or expiry of a collection window.

7.2 Costs

Carrier return fees are your responsibility.

7.3 Reshipping

A flat reshipping fee of $20 (AU domestic) applies; higher fees may apply for international reshipments. This covers a new outbound shipment plus the carrier’s original return fee. We’ll confirm your address and send a payment link before reshipment. Express options are available at extra cost.

7.4 Refunds instead of reshipping

If you prefer a refund—or we don’t hear from you within 7 days of contacting you—we’ll refund the product value only, less a $10 Return to Sender fee and a 10% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

7.5 Condition

Returned items must be unopened and resaleable. Opened, damaged or otherwise unsaleable goods may be ineligible for refund.

8. Delays, lost or damaged parcels

  • Delays: Weather events, peak periods, carrier network issues and customs inspections can extend delivery times.
  • Damage/shortage: Please photograph the parcel and contents and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can investigate with the carrier.
  • Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for a reasonable period, we’ll open an enquiry with the carrier and assist with a remedy in line with the ACL and carrier outcome.

9. Warehouse details

Warehouse address (for carrier reference/returns; not a retail shopfront): 33/10 Sylvester Avenue, Unanderra NSW 2526. Business hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–4:00pm. Please contact us before arranging any returns to ensure they’re receivable.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The updated policy applies from the date of posting.
