Emu oil is rendered from the fat of the Australian emu and has a long history of traditional use. NXGEN processes the oil at low temperature and does not add flavours, preservatives, fillers or synthetic nutrients.

The finished product has a smooth texture that may become firmer in cooler conditions and softer or liquid at warmer room temperatures.

Naturally Occurring Fatty-Acid Profile

NXGEN Emu Oil typically contains the following fatty acids:

• Myristic acid: 0.44%
• Palmitic acid: 22.6%
• Palmitoleic acid: 7.6%
• Stearic acid: 7.1%
• Oleic acid: 53.7%
• Conjugated linoleic acid: 4.7%
• Linolenic acid: 0.6%

These values are typical and may vary naturally between batches.

Naturally Occurring Vitamin K2 MK-4

Testing supplied by NXGEN indicates that the oil contains approximately 4.2mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-4 per gram, or approximately 425mcg across the full 120ml jar.

Vitamin content may vary because emu oil is a natural whole-food product rather than a standardised or fortified vitamin supplement.

Low-Temperature Processing

NXGEN uses a low-temperature rendering and purification method to produce the oil. This avoids unnecessary high-heat processing and keeps the formula simple.

Packaged in Glass

The oil is supplied in a glass jar to reduce contact with plastic and help limit exposure to oxygen during storage.
