Redmond Re-Lyte Hydration Electrolyte Powder — Unflavoured

An unflavoured electrolyte powder to mix with water. It has a plain, salty taste.

About this product

Contains the electrolytes sodium, potassium and magnesium.
Made with ancient sea salt (Redmond Real Salt).
Four ingredients. No added sugar, no sweeteners, no flavours.
Suitable for ketogenic, paleo and vegan diets.
75 serves per tub.

How to use

Mix one scoop into 500–750 mL of water. Let it sit for about 30 seconds, then shake for another 10 seconds to dissolve. Add more or less water to suit your taste. You may notice some sediment at the bottom of the container — this is trace minerals from the salt.

Good but not great

Good but not great. Doesn't dissolve like the other brand. Its grainy no matter if i do cold or hot water.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We completely understand that the texture can be different compared to other electrolyte brands, and we're sorry it wasn't quite what you were expecting.

One of the things that makes Re-Lyte different is that it's made with Redmond Real Salt, an unrefined ancient sea salt that naturally contains over 60 trace minerals, along with key electrolytes including sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Because the salt is minimally processed, some of these naturally occurring minerals are insoluble, meaning they don't completely dissolve in water.

That can leave a little sediment at the bottom of your glass or give the drink a slightly grainy texture, regardless of whether you mix it with hot or cold water. While some brands use more highly refined ingredients that dissolve completely, Re-Lyte retains these naturally occurring minerals as part of its formulation.

A good shake before drinking, and again before the last few sips, can help redistribute the minerals. We know the texture isn't for everyone, but it's a natural result of the minimally processed ingredients rather than a quality issue.

60 serves not 75

Misleading advertising, labelling on product says 60 serves (not 75 as advertised on website). And I measured and counted and the label on product is correct - 60 serves only (definitely not 75).

Hi Claire, thanks for your feedback. To clarify, the Unflavoured Relyte does contain 75 serves (5g each = 375g). When updating labels for Australian nutritional panels, an error was made and we apologise for the confusion. All other flavours have 60 serves, but the Unflavoured has 75, hence the mix-up. Please note that 5g is not a full scoop, which may explain the difference when measuring.

Was great

Was great. Easy to throw in and the flavors were pretty good. Definitely going to continue to use when fasting and gym.

Something Fishy

It has a very fishy taste to it and always has a very gritty residue

Great product for carnivores!

A bit dissapointed

Even though its a better buy its a bit gritty and a slight fishy taste. Not as good as LMNT but thought I would try as its cheaper. Wont get again.

Perfection for carnivore

I've been using relyte unflavoured and they're flavoured for 18 months now. For those new to carnivore, it will be salty. But when you've been on carnivore as long as I have it doesn't have a salty taste at all. I divert to it first at any sign of headache, fogginess, lethargy or any other fatigue, and usually that's the fix before even needing to use Panadol or any medications. It's amazing how an electrolyte balance/imbalance can affect so much of our body that we've become used to chugging meds for. I have travelled with mine internationally because there is just no way I am not having my electrolytes daily. I can also mix it with pre-workouts or fat burners when I have a heavy gym day or the Queensland heat just hits hard and it has no taste. I love replete. Wish it was slightly better priced or that there were more deal offers for regular customers.

Re-Lyte

Fantastic product! Not cheap but I get the unflavoured and add a bit of cordial. The flavoured products are really nice and don't taste "fake" but they have less serves. I feel an energy burst about 1/2 hr after I take it and I no longer suffer leg cramps ( I do take magg sup though). I can carry on gardening through hot days and wouldn't be without it. My collegues are taking it now and they all love it. I think Re-Lyte works on an intracellular level as I don't feel thirsty. I also put a pinch of Celtic sea salt in my drinking water which helps to balance (we sweat alot). I wouldn't be without Re-Lyte ~ I'm looking forward to powering on through the coming summer.

Re-Leyte unflavoured sediment

Very professional service. It has s slightly frank taste, which is probably from the other salts apart from Sodium Chloride that I am unfamiliar with. I noticed some undissolvable sediment in the bottom of my glass and am curious as to what it is. Should I stir it into suspension and chug that down as well.

WORKS TO KEEP YOU HYDRATED

Unflavoured Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix works well to keep you hydrated, tastes a little salty as you would expect but it is easy for me to get used to this taste, if you do not like the salty taste then try a flavoured variety which should make it go down much easier, highly recommended for anyone who wants to remain hydrated during exercise or walking/running or anyone working hard. A great way to replace your salts and potassium/magnesium to help you keep your energy!

very happy with this

bit salty taste since unflavoured, but with enough water it tastes fine

Surprisingly mild taste

I was expecting this to taste super salty but it’s actually quite mild for my tastes. Super refreshing with ice cold water! Also great if I’m feeling headachy or lethargic while on a ketogenic diet.

Re-Lyte Hydration Unflavoured

I received my tub yesterday & immediately tried it (1 week in on Carnivore). I was very surprised at the saltiness of it, however I just added more water to make it palatable to me. After only having this product for the second day now, I can already tell it is going to be a great help! It is also great to find a product that has no nasties in it.
